Legends are the first element of our tradition and folklore that we can meet from childhood. That is why Bombkarnia has created an original collection referring to legends from various regions of Poland. The ornament refers to the legend of the Wawel Dragon.
Glass, mouth-blown and hand-painted, furry ship with a smiling muzzle. Perched on a green patch of grass. This ornament belongs to “Wawel Dragon Legend” Collection, which was inspired by Polish myth about horrible reptile, which brought terror in old medieval Cracow. The dragon has been tamed by humble shoemaker called Skuba, who used a trick: he fed the monter with a ship filled with sulfur. Poisoned dragon drank so much, that he cracked, and the shoemaker in the award of his courage was showerd with gold by Polish King Krak.
