Glass, hand-painted figurine of Magdalena. The Christmas ornament belongs to the Collection “The Legend of the Basilisk, inspired by the story of a terrible reptile spreading terror in medieval Warsaw. According to the story, the Basilisk defeated a little girl named Magdalena by trickery, pushing a mirror to him, so that the one looking at it would turn into stone.
