One of the most famous collections of Bombkarnia is the one referring to regional embroidery. We want to present the heritage of Polish folk art in a new way, i.e. on glass baubles. A hand-made figurine of a female costume from the Świętokrzyskie region shows the details of regional embroidery while maintaining all the substantive elements.
A woolen shawl with flowers, usually red, decorated with fringes, is worn by both a virgin and a married woman. A married woman puts a cap under the scarf, and the girl fastens flowers on the side. The collar and cuffs of the white shirt are decorated with cross-stitch embroidery with geometric motifs. A short woolen corset with a basque, worn over a shirt, tied with a red ribbon. A woolen skirt, plain or striped, is tied around a woolen apron made of homespun cloth with red and black stripes.
