Apart from the honey bee, bumblebees are the most important pollinating insects in our climate zone.

Searching for food, bumblebees visit the flowers, buzzing, they move their wings, abdomen and torso.

Bumblebees collect less food from one plant, so they have to visit more of them, pollinating more plants.

All bumblebee species are protected throughout Poland, but their number is decreasing every year.

There are over 300 species of bumblebees in the world.
