Legends are the first element of our tradition and folklore that we can meet from childhood. That is why Bombkarnia has created an original collection referring to legends from various regions of Poland.
The ornament refers to the legend of the Wawel Dragon. A glass, hand-painted, fluffy sheep with a black mouth and hooves. Perched on a clump of grass. Inspired by the story of a terrible reptile spreading terror in medieval Krakow. According to the story, the dragon was tricked by a modest shoemaker from Kraków, Skuba, who fed him a sheep stuffed with sulfur. Devoured by the strong thirst caused by the consumption of the poisonous lamb, the dragon drank the water until it burst. Szewczyk’s courage was generously rewarded by King Krak.
