Glass, mouth-blown and hand-painted figurine of a purple dragon. This ornament belongs to “Wawel Dragon Legend” Collection, which was inspired by Polish myth about horrible reptile, which brought terror in old medieval Cracow. The dragon has been tamed by humble shoemaker called Skuba, who used a trick: he fed the monter with a ship filled with sulfur. Poisoned dragon drank so much, that he cracked, and the shoemaker in the award of his courage was showerd with gold by Polish King Krak.
