Round baubles symbolize harmony. The apples that inspired the creation of baubles refer to the heavenly fruit that Adam and Eve were tempted by. The first baubles were made in the 19th century in Germany. The tradition of dressing the Christmas tree goes back to pagan times. In the past, trees were decorated with nuts and apples instead of ornaments.
Legend says that a poor craftsman who worked in a glassworks could not afford to buy fruit and nuts, so he blew a glass ball himself. In this way, he saved the steelworks from bankruptcy, and its decorations captivated people all over the world.
All our baubles are mouth-blown and hand-made.
