One of the most famous collections of Bombkarnia is the one referring to regional embroidery. We want to present the heritage of Polish folk art in a new way, i.e. on glass baubles. The hand-made Kurp figurine shows the details of regional embroidery with all the substantive elements.
On a white shirt made of homespun linen she puts on a yak, also known as a lejbik, a short jacket made of red cloth, trimmed with a black ribbon. At the neck he ties a decorative ribbon called a faforka. She tucks her webbing, light-colored pants into leather high boots. Older men also wear woolen suits as outerwear, fitted in the upper part, flared and wavy from the waist down.
Height – approx. 14 cm
Material:
– bauble: glass
– box: decorative cardboard printed in the colors of Bombkarnia
